This policy explains what personal data the umanu website (umanu.ai) collects, why, who processes it and the choices you have. The website is run by umanu (“we”), which is responsible for this data.
What we collect
Analytics and advertising, only if you accept
If you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how the site is used and to measure our ads. Google then sets cookies and collects data such as the pages you visit, your device and browser, your approximate location from your IP address, and whether you arrived from one of our ads.
If you choose “Reject”, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. Google only receives basic signals without cookies or identifiers (Google Consent Mode), which it uses to estimate overall numbers.
Booking a call
When you book a call, the booking is handled by Cal.com, which collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address and any notes, and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
Running the website
The site is hosted by Vercel and its images and videos are served by Cloudflare. Like any website, their servers keep technical logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Your cookie choice
We store your cookie choice in your browser so we don’t ask again on every visit. This is needed for the site to respect your choice and is not used to track you.
Why we use it
- Analytics and advertising: with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Booking a call: to take the steps you asked for before any agreement with us.
- Running and securing the site: our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website.
Who processes it
We work with Google (analytics and advertising), Cal.com (bookings), Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare (content delivery). Some of these companies may process data outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States; where they do, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and advertising cookies for up to 90 days. Booking details are kept for as long as we are in contact about working together. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting providers.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can change your cookie choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
